Arden Ultraviolet to Showcase UV Safety at Materials Testing 2026

Arden Ultraviolet will be exhibiting at Materials Testing 2026 at the Telford International Centre on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th September, where it will highlight the importance of safe working practices around artificial ultraviolet (UV) light sources used throughout manufacturing, testing and industrial processes.

Recognised as one of the world’s leading exhibitions for quality testing, non-destructive testing (NDT), materials testing, condition monitoring (CM) and diagnostic technology, the event provides an ideal platform to raise awareness of the often-overlooked risks associated with occupational UV exposure.

Although artificial UV lamps are widely used across many industries, the health effects of repeated exposure can remain undetected for years. As regulatory scrutiny increases, many organisations are discovering they have legal duties to assess UV risks, implement suitable control measures and ensure employees receive appropriate training.

Arden Ultraviolet will be speaking with manufacturers, testing laboratories and safety professionals about practical ways to improve UV safety, helping organisations understand their responsibilities while protecting the health and wellbeing of their workforce.

Dan Arnold, Managing Director at Arden Ultraviolet, said: “Many organisations are still unaware of the hidden risks from personal exposure to UV lamps, or their legal obligations to assess and provide training. With increased HSE inspections highlighting gaps in compliance, we’re taking the opportunity to raise awareness, helping organisations reduce risks to workers while giving employees and safety teams greater confidence that appropriate UV safety measures are in place.”

Arden Ultraviolet supports organisations through a range of specialist services, including UV risk management training for safety teams and duty holders, on-site UV exposure surveys, compliance reports, and tailored UV hazard awareness training for employees working with or around UV equipment. These services help organisations meet their legal responsibilities while creating safer working environments and reducing the risk of long-term health effects associated with UV exposure.

Visitors to Materials Testing 2026 are invited to speak with the Arden Ultraviolet team to learn more about practical UV risk management and the steps organisations can take to improve compliance and protect their workforce.

You will find Arden Ultraviolet at stand P51 across both days.
